Work Begins!

The first phase of the Bonaventure Expressway’s reconfiguration, as emphasized in Vision 2025 of the Société du Havre de Montréal, is ready for launch!

These early works are to extend the floor and Duke streets of Nazareth by adding an additional lane. This will begin the rehabilitation of infrastructure under the project, while maintaining current traffic. The work of replacing worn-made ​​infrastructures are needed, and the Project Bonaventure can sort their execution in a logical and economical. Once completed, the future development of Griffintown and the suburb of Récollets is facilitated.

Access to downtown is still the priority. Work will continue until 2014.
